Espanyol right-back Omar El Hilalli, 21, has not ruled out a move to city rivals Barcelona this summer, saying he will leave it to his representatives to consider offers, according to Mundo Deportivo on Sunday. 

Barcelona are planning to sign another right-back this summer and El Hilalli is one of them, with the Espanyol right-back having a release clause of just €15m not too expensive for the Blaugrana.

‘My agent will assess everything that comes in and that’s why they have a job and from then on, whatever happens will happen in that moment,’ the 21-year-old right-back said.

Asked whether the €15m release clause was too high or too low, El-Hilalli said: ‘For me it seems too high (laughs). It’s a figure I’ve never heard in my life. You can’t say that a club will pay that much for you. ‘

‘But if the club pays, I think it’s because they really want you and because they feel you fit their plans. Then it’s up to Espanyol and my representatives to assess what’s going to happen.’ ( 123over )
