Atletico Madrid legend Paulo Futre believes Barcelona teenage forward Lamine Yamal will win the Ballon d’Or more than once during his career, Mundo Deportivo reported on Thursday.
Yamal has been performing well since his young age and has been admired by many, not only by his teammates but also by people not associated with Barcelona or Spain. One of them is Atletico legend Futre.
‘Lamine is phenomenal. We are looking for the next Ballon d’Or winner and I don’t know how many times he can win it in the next few years because he can win it many times,’ Futre said. ‘Lamine plays with incredible personality, quality and character of a winner!’
The Portuguese legend also stressed that Yamal would be the only player he would sign at Barcelona. ‘If I had to sign someone, I would choose Lamine, even though Rafinha and Pedri are there too.'( 123over )
