Nike has also been paying big for the Olympics, having signed a long-term sponsorship deal with the US national team and acquired Converse, which has also had to pay more for up-and-coming athletes. Canadian basketball player Shea-Gilgeous Alexander is set to release his signature shoe in 2025. 

The bonus money from different countries, which is more or less, is another factor that will make athletes earn higher incomes if they are successful. For example, Serbia of Jokic gives 215,000 US dollars – per – 1 gold medal.
