Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has brought new striker Endrick Felipe to the United States for his pre-season training camp, but he is unlikely to play much to avoid problems with Barcelona’s Vitor Roque, Diario AS reported on Monday.

Barcelona signed Vitor Roque from Atletico Paranaense in January but the Brazilian forward has struggled to adapt and has had an impact on his current form, with Ancelotti not wanting to put pressure on Endrick and see him suffer the same problems as his compatriot. 

Ancelotti is reportedly set to use Endrick sparingly in friendlies as the Italian focuses more on training and fine-tuning his tactics after seeing Vitor Roque’s move from South America to Europe at a young age not go as smoothly as he had hoped.

Real Madrid are set to kick off their pre-season tour against AC Milan on August 1, before heading to Barcelona for ‘El Clasico’ on August 4 and wrapping up their US tour against Chelsea on August 7. ( wilson88 )
