Bankero takes an indefinite break from Magic due to a torso injury Sakidbet

The team statement said the 21-year-old will have to wait until early December at the earliest for a follow-up appointment, with his return to action dependent on his recovery. 

The third-year veteran has been on fire since the start of the season, scoring 33 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against the Miami Heat and becoming the first player this season to score 50 points in four regular-season games against the Indiana Pacers on Monday. 

Banchero was injured in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls but played through the game. 

Through five games this season, he’s averaging 29   points , 8.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 36.4 minutes per game . ( Sakidbet  )
