Just 12 minutes into the game, Barca took a 1-0 lead when Lamine Yamal got the ball on the right wing and flicked it into the penalty area for Dani Olmo to follow up and fire it into the goal.

In the 23rd minute, the home team extended their lead to 2-0 when Marc Casado passed the ball up into the penalty area for Rafinha to break through and kick it before Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia, allowing the ball to go into the goal.

Barca made it 3-0 in the 31st minute when Espanyol’s defender made a mistake in his own half and Alejandro Balde passed to Dani Olmo, who took it on the edge of the area and fired a right-footed shot past Garcia into the net.

End of the first half, Barcelona leads Espanyol 3-0.

In the second half, in the 63rd minute, Espanyol scored a goal to make it 1-3 when Carlos Romero dragged the ball to the left and crossed to the far post for Javi Pardo to shoot into the goal.
