Barca may adjust Olmo registration plans until end of season hotfuns

Mundo Deportivo reported on Thursday that Barcelona are considering ways to register Daniel Olmo until the end of the season, taking advantage of Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s long-term injury.  ( hotfuns )

Olmo has missed the first two games of the season before Barcelona were able to register him using 80 per cent of Andreas Christensen’s wages, which are out for around four months due to injury, but the registration will only be open until December 31. 

Barcelona are also struggling to find a solution to register Olmo until the end of the season, with the Blaugrana expected to cancel Ter Stegen’s registration following the injury in order to use 80 per cent of the German’s salary to register the 26-year-old midfielder.

That is just a temporary solution for Barcelona and they need to continue improving their financial situation in the coming months. 

However, taking 80 percent of Ter Stegen’s salary would only be able to register Olmo, but if the Blaugrana want to sign an emergency deal for the Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, it would not be enough, but if Barca choose to sign the 35-year-old goalkeeper first, they would still have time to find a way to register Olmo until the end of the season in the future.
