Barcelona set to loan Bayer to Celtic hotfuns

Mundo Deportivo reported on Sunday that Barcelona are set to extend Alex Valle’s contract by another year before allowing the 20-year-old left-back to join Celtic on loan for the season.  ( hotfuns )

Valle returns from Levante after a loan spell this summer but the 20-year-old is not yet an option for Hansi Flick at left-back, with the German preferring to use fellow youngster Gerard Martin as back-up to Alejandro Valde, so Barcelona are planning to offload Valle in a bid to ease their wage bill. 

Valencia are currently under contract until 2025 but Barcelona are planning to extend his deal until 2026 before allowing the 20-year-old left-back to join Celtic on a one-year loan, a chance for the youngster to continue his development at the Bianconeri.
