    The defender from Bologna just got his first call-up to the senior national team during the warm-up before Euro 2024 and played as a starter in both the first two games, winning 2-1 against Albania and losing 0-1 to Spain. (  )

    Bastoni, who have been paired together for the past two games in the tournament, has praised Calafiori for his great potential. along with saying that he is similar to his previous self as well Ready to hope to get to know each other better.

    “I have a good relationship with Calafiori, he has huge potential, he is not afraid to play with the ball. And he is similar to the player I was three years ago,” Bastoni said.

    “As the coach (Spalletti) said, playing some games is a big step. We played a couple of games together so hopefully we can strengthen our relationship during this time.”
