The Chicago Bears have agreed terms with 29-year-old veteran offensive tackle Matt Fryer on a one-year contract to play as backup to Darnell Wright and Bae. Rexton Jones, right and left tackle, respectively, according to The Athletic. ( lisbon365  )

Pryor, a former sixth-round draft pick in the 2018 draft, began his career with the Philadelphia Eagles until 2020, followed by a stint with the Indianapolis Colts in 2021-2022 and played with San Francisco. Cisco 49ers in season 2023 

The 29-year-old defensive tackle is also familiar with Bears head coach Matt Eberflus when he was the Colts’ defensive backs coach in 2021. Pryor also Still familiar with Ian Cunningham, who worked in the Eagles’ front office from 2018-2020 before moving to his current position as assistant general manager for the Bears.

Pryor is the Bears’ sixth new addition this off-season, joining guard Ryan Bates, who was traded from the Buffalo Bills, and players from the free agent market like safety. Kevin Villard, running back DeAndre Swift, wing Gerald Everett and safety Jonathan Owens. 

According to a recent report by Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, the Bears have reached an agreement with 28-year-old veteran center Colman Shelton on a one-year contract to replace Cody Whitehair. Released from the team

Shelton started all 17 games at center for the LA Rams last season. After starting 13 games in the 2022 season, playing at left guard, right guard and center before moving to become the Bears’ seventh new member during this off-season.
