Mundo Deportivo reported on Tuesday that the Belgian Football Federation has expressed its support for United boss Domenico Tedesco, despite Thibaut Courtois insisting he will not return to the national team unless changes are made. ( superwin636 )

Courtois has ruled out of Belgium’s Euro 2024 campaign after falling out with Tedesco, with the 32-year-old Real Madrid goalkeeper insisting he will not return to the Red Devils as long as the manager is in charge. 

“I have decided not to return to the Belgium national team under this manager. I accept responsibility for this,” Courtois posted on Instagram earlier. 

However, the Belgian Football Federation responded to the matter by showing their support for Tedesco, backing the 38-year-old to manage the Red Devils until the 2026 World Cup. 

It may come as little surprise that the Belgian Football Federation has been so vocal in its support of Tedesco, given the 38-year-old’s poor form following United’s exit from Euro 2024 in the round of 16.
