The Algerian forward was on loan at Lyon for the second half of last season, where the 29-year-old impressed as OL secured a place in the Europa League and the club made his move permanent.

However, French journalist Mohamed Toubach-Terre has revealed that Lyon are looking to offload Benrahma when the January transfer window arrives.

Although Benrahma has played 11 games this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists, the reporter believes that head coach Pierre Sach trusts in using other players more.

Benrahma was also reported to have displayed unprofessional behaviour and was ruled out of the last clash with Saint-Etienne. 

Lyon are ready to listen to offers to sell Benrahma this winter, and the club’s financial situation has made OL more open, as was the case with Gift Orban. ( vox888 )
