Anderson, a five-year veteran running back, needs 54 more yards to become the first franchise rusher to total 1,000 yards since Knowshon Moreno did it in 2013.

“A lot of people forget I had knee surgery last year, so coming back from knee surgery this year with 1,000 yards, I think it was a successful and healthy season,” Anderson said.

Anderson is in his second season with the Broncos on a four-year, $18 million deal that will see his salary increase from $2.9 million to $4.5 million over the next two years.
