Joe Flacco is returning to Cleveland after the 40-year-old quarterback agreed to a one-year, $4 million deal with the Browns, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. berlin1688
Flacco spent the 2023 season in Cleveland, helping the Browns make the playoffs after starting five games, posting a 4-1 record, completing 60.3 percent of his passes for 1,616 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions, while winning Comeback Player of the Year honors.
He then moved to the Indianapolis Colts in the 2024 season, starting six games, going 2-4, completing 65.3 percent of his passes for 1,761 yards, 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
The Browns have decided to bring Flacco back to Cleveland after struggling with the loss of DeShaun Watson, who is expected to miss the entire 2025 season with a torn Achilles tendon. The 40-year-old will join former Pittsburgh Steelers first-round draft pick Kenny Pickett, who also signed with the team this offseason. ( berlin1688 )
