Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson admits everyone had their doubts about him, but the 29-year-old is confident he will come back better than ever, NFL Network reports. betflikth99

Watson has a torn Achilles tendon and the 29-year-old quarterback is expected to miss the entire 2025 season, with Browns owner Jimmy Haslam admitting the club took too much of a risk and made a mistake investing in Watson in 2022.

Despite the belief that Watson is out of shape and unlikely to return to his best, the 29-year-old quarterback is confident he will come back better than ever.

Watson posted a video on Instagram of himself working out in a Browns uniform and hinted that he would be back. “Everybody doubted me. Everybody didn’t believe in me. Everybody didn’t think I was going to be the same. But I know and I believe that the work I’ve put in has given me confidence in myself. I know I’m going to be a lot better than I was before,” Watson said.

If Watson is unable to play through the 2025 season, the 29-year-old quarterback will miss 66 of 85 games in five seasons since being traded from the Houston Texans in 2020. ( betflikth99 )
