Fitzpatrick, who played 14 seasons in the NFL and started 126 games for eight teams, signed a two-year deal with the Dolphins in March, before the Dolphins traded star quarterback Josh Rosen from the Arizona Cardinals to learn from him and hired former quarterback Dan Marino as a mentor between the two.

“He’s a great guy,” Fitzpatrick said of Marino. “The biggest thing he’s shown me is his humility, his ability to answer questions (is great). He’s just a simple guy, not only as a Hall of Fame quarterback but as a guy in general. Learning things that we have to do whether it’s off the field with our family or on the field, he has a great perspective on everything. It’s been great to get to know him.” ( bgames666 )
