Black Cats sign Sadiki on 5-year deal doohee

doohee Sunderland have signed DR Congo midfielder Noah Sadiki from Belgian side Saint-Gilloise. doohee
The 20-year-old has signed a five-year deal and moved to Sunderland for £15m.
Sadiki has made 108 appearances for Saint-Gilloise since joining from Anderlecht in 2023, helping the club win the Belgian league title last season.
The Brussels midfielder, who can also play as a defender, has represented Belgium at youth level before switching to DR Congo and making his senior international debut in 2024.
“I would like to thank everyone for welcoming me to Sunderland,” Sadiki said.
“It’s a big club, but what convinced me was talking to the people. They talked about the history, what they wanted to build and their belief in the role I could play.”
Sadiki is Sunderland’s third new signing of the summer as they prepare for their first Premier League return since 2016-17.
doohee Enzo Le Fei has joined from Roma on a permanent basis, while Senegalese midfielder Habib Diarra has joined from Strasbourg for a club-record £30m. ( doohee )
