Booker suffers groin injury, misses first Suns game of the season Pgzen 

Pgzen Phoenix Suns All-Star guard Devin Booker has confirmed he will miss Saturday’s (Dec. 21) home game against the Detroit Pistons with a stretched left groin. Pgzen 

Arizona Central Sports reports that the 28-year-old guard missed practice Friday, 24 hours after suffering an injury in the third quarter of a 111-120 loss to the Indiana Pacers in a surprise upset. 

Booker left the game with 5:18 remaining in the third quarter for initial evaluation in the locker room, where it was determined that he should not be forced to return to the game.   

The game’s performance was 17 points, 6 assists in 25 minutes, 5 out of 10 field goals. The recovery time frame has not been confirmed yet.  Pgzen
