Miles Bridges, a 26-year-old forward, has agreed to a three-year, $75 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets despite being linked to the Orlando Magic, LA Clippers or Detroit Pistons, The Athletic reports. superwin636

Bridges has been with the Hornets since entering the league as the 12th overall pick in the 2018 draft. He was suspended 30 games by the NBA early in the 2023-24 season for domestic violence before returning to the court in mid-November on a one-year deal worth just $7.9 million. 

The 26-year-old forward has impressed, averaging 21 points per game and shooting 34.9 percent from three-point range, and Bridges has previously insisted he wants to stay in Charlotte until he agreed to a new three-year, $75 million deal with the Hornets, although his $25 million per season salary is lower than he had hoped for.

But Bridges has decided to return to Charlotte, where the 26-year-old forward will be one of five starters for the Hornets, along with LaMello Ball, Brandon Miller, Grant Williams and Mark Williams, along with backup Reggie Jackson, under rookie head coach Charles Lee, who has a chance to push the team to its first postseason appearance since 2016.
