According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Brighton are keeping a close eye on Locatelli and are preparing to make an offer this summer for the Italy international.

The former AC Milan and Sassuolo player turned down a bigger money offer from Arsenal in 2021 because he felt he was not ready for the Premier League. and has been a Juventus fan all his life.

However, the situation may have changed now. And he was able to open up to it. Especially if working with De Zerbi again.

Locatelli played 99 times for Sassuolo under De Zerbi, and it was his most productive season of his career, with seven goals and 11 assists.

By comparison, the midfielder has scored just four goals and 12 assists in Allegri’s 112 appearances in charge at Juventus.
