The report states that Public Investment Fund , or PIF, Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. The owner of the Newcastle club was deeply dissatisfied with Howe ‘s performance and began looking for a skilled manager to take over. ( superheng1688 )

This season, Howe has performed poorly, leading Newcastle to fall to 10th in the Premier League standings and showing signs of losing their right to play in European football next year. This caused the club’s income to disappear quite a bit despite having invested a lot in strengthening the troops.

Due to this situation,  PIF is looking for someone to come in and save the team’s crisis, with Mancini being the first choice, looking at the Italian coach. He is very familiar with working in England after working with Manchester City from 2009-2013 and leading the team to one league championship.

However, besides Mancini, Jose Mourinho and Thomas Tuchel are also under consideration.
