San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, 30, who underwent shoulder surgery this offseason, will be fully cleared by mid-August, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday.  ( bully168 )

Garappolo reportedly met with Dr. Neil ElAttrash, the surgeon who operated on the 30-year-old’s shoulder, and ‘Jimmy G’ is recovering well and is back in full throwing practice and is expected to be fully cleared by mid-August.

According to a previous report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the 49ers are considering a Garappolo trade as early as July, and Jimmy G’s recovery seems to have raised expectations for a trade that could happen, as the team looks to push former 2021 draft pick Trey Lance to become the team’s new leader.
