The 50-year-old enjoyed a stellar start to life at the Rossoneri after replacing Paulo Fonseca before the new year, winning the Supercoppa with victories over Juventus in the semi-finals and Inter Milan in the final, particularly in the final against their city rivals who came from two goals down to secure the trophy.
However, the team’s performance after that was problematic, losing 5 of 13 games (won 6, drew 2) and, most painfully, losing to Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League play-offs.
Despite signing a contract until 2026, the Italian outlet reports that Milan will part ways with Conceicao at the end of the season, with new sporting director Giorgio Furlani set to select his replacement in the coming weeks.
