Fenerbahce have been linked with a number of midfielders, including Fiorentina midfielder Sofiane Amrabat and Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. ( bully168 ) 

Foot Mercato has recently revealed that the chances of the Turkish club getting Amrabat or Gundogan are still very unlikely as it seems that the players are not interested in moving to the team or playing in the Turkish league.

This has led French media to suggest that Nemanja Matic is now an option for Fenerbahce, with Jose Mourinho set to work with the Serbian midfielder for the fourth time. 

The ‘Special One’ has previously coached at clubs where Matic played, including Chelsea, Manchester United and Roma.

It depends on Fenerbahce’s attitude whether they are ready to approach the 36-year-old midfielder or not, with French media estimating that Olympique Lyonnais is open to negotiations if the right price is received.
