Van Nistelrooy has just completed a four-match stint as caretaker manager at Manchester United after a 3-0 win over Leicester City last weekend. 

The former Red Devils striker is no longer at Old Trafford under new manager Ruben Amorim, who is keen to use his own backroom staff and has been forced to leave the club. 

As for Casemiro, he ended his speech to the Dutch coach, saying: “I had a lot of fun. Everyone at Madrid has told me how great he is. I am not surprised.”
