The Indianapolis Colts are giving Jonathan Taylor the opportunity to find a suitable trade after the 24-year-old running back submitted a trade request nearly a month ago, according to a report from the network’s Ian Rapoport. NFL Network ( onelove168  )

The former second-round draft pick of the 2020 class was in a contract dispute with the Colts as the Indy team failed to meet the 24-year-old running back’s desire for a long-term deal until Taylor filed a request. Traded to a team before the Colts gave the green light for him to seek a new franchise as desired. 

According to reports, the Colts expect to receive more compensation than when the San Francisco 49ers traded Christian McCaffrey from the Carolina Panthers. 2nd round, 3rd round, 4th round, and 5th round draft, so trading Taylor isn’t easy either. 

Taylor is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is set to earn $4.3 million in the 2023 season, although the 24-year-old running back has been unable to find a trade. Indy will also move forward with the 24-year-old running back.
