cosmo365 Devontay Walker is ready to make the most of his sophomore season with the Baltimore Ravens after a sparse rookie season.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devontez Walker, 24, has revealed his intention to play his best in 2025 after a limited rookie season, NFL Network reports. cosmo365
The former fourth-round pick in the 2024 draft class had limited playing time during his rookie season, playing in just nine games and never starting.
“Last year, early on, I felt like I wasn’t playing as fast as I used to,” Walker said. “You know, I was wondering what to do. I was thinking, trying to do everything right, trying to be perfect. I couldn’t go out and run at my full potential. This year, I was able to go out there and play as fast as I could.”
Walker ran the 40-yard dash in 4.36 seconds at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, and the 24-year-old wide receiver believes he can use that ability to his advantage on the field as well.
“I feel very confident,” Walker said. “I know what we’re trying to do offensively and I can go out there and play my best.”
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh believes Walker will be a breakout performer in the 2025 season, saying, “Every day, what he does is he shows up and he runs 100 miles an hour. He has a chance to play really well.” ( cosmo365 )
