cup1688 San Francisco 49ers running back Victor Bolden will be suspended for the first four games of the 2018 season after failing a banned substance test on the medication he was using.
The team made the announcement Friday, while the player himself released a statement expressing regret. “It was an honest mistake. I used a drug that is prohibited by the NFL.” cup1688
“As professional athletes, it is our direct responsibility not to get involved with banned substances. In the future, I will do more in-depth research on which drugs to put into the body.”

Bolden won’t be available for a roster spot until after Oct. 1, after the Week 4 game against the LA Chargers, and the other three games before that are against the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs.
The 23-year-old undrafted player signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract in May and has averaged 20.9 yards on 19 kickoff returns, but averaged just 5.8 yards per punt. ( cup1688 )
