Tabor, 53, previously coached special teams with the Cleveland Browns (2011-2017), Chicago Bears (2018-2021), Panthers (2022-2023) and became acting head coach for the Panthers for the final six games of the 2023 season, where they went 1-5. He has been out of work ever since before being brought in by the Bills to be their special teams coach.
The Bills ranked 28th in yards allowed per kickoff return (30.8 yards), 26th in kickoff return (25.9 yards) and 24th in yards allowed per punt return (40.9 yards). Kicker Tyler Bass also struggled last season, finishing 26th in field goals (24-of-29, 82.9 percent) and 32nd in extra points (59-of-64, 92 percent). ( cup1688 )
