cup1688 Jahmier Gibbs will be working with new Detroit Lions running backs coach Tachard Choice.
New Detroit Lions running backs coach Tachard Choice said he is excited to work with 23-year-old running back Jahmiir Gibbs, NFL Network reported. cup1688
‘There’s no limit to him,’ Choice said of Gibbs. ‘I’m going to push him. I’m going to push him no matter what. I have to do it.’
Gibbs has been impressive, rushing for 1,412 yards and a league-high 16 touchdowns in 2024, while also gaining 1,929 yards and four scores, and teaming with David Montgomery to form one of the best backfield duos in the NFL.
‘Having the opportunity to watch (Gibbs) from afar for the last three years and every week because of (defensive backs coach Kelvin Shepard) Shep and because of Jah, I’ve always wanted to watch a Lions game.’
“Seeing him develop, seeing how smart he is, I told him he’s one of the smartest running backs I’ve ever coached. He’s a natural football player, so having the opportunity to coach him now, I’m going to have to be even stricter,” Choice said. ( cup1688 )
