    “When Mr. John Mara and I talked, one of the first questions he asked me was about the quarterback situation and I said, ‘John, I’m going to have Eli start right now. ‘

    Eli Manning’s streak of starting 210 consecutive games ended after former Giants head coach Ben McAdoo dropped him from the team and selected Geno Smith as the starting quarterback. But they lost to the Raiders before McAdoo was fired along with general manager Jerry Reese. The
