The Philadelphia Eagles have reached an agreement with former Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Shane Steichen to bring the 35-year-old to lead the offense under new head coach Nick. Sirianni, 39, according to a report from NFL Network on Sunday.  ( Wintime999   )

Steichen worked with Sirianni for the Chargers for four years before the latter moved to take the position of offensive coordinator for the Chargers. With the Indianapolis Colts in 2018, Steichen, who worked as quarterbacks coach from 2016-2019 and was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2020, is credited with managing Justin. Herbert, the Lightning’s rookie quarterback, will play a key role in reviving the career of Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. 

The Eagles’ new offensive coordinator began his coaching career with the Cleveland Browns in 2013 as quality control coach. He moved to San Diego the following season to replace Serianni as quality control coach. Promoted to quarterbacks coach, Sirianni then moved to wide receivers and Steichen joined him as quarterbacks coach until becoming offensive line coach this season. past
