Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, 31, has revealed he will no longer attend closed-door team meetings after rumors broke last season, ESPN reported.

Normally, when a sports team holds a players-only team meeting, it should be sacred and the stories that are spoken in that meeting should stay in the meeting. But that’s not always the case. 

While Embiid had a difficult time last season when details leaked about Tyrese Maxey confronting Embiid about his delays, the 31-year-old center was furious when the story was later made public, calling whoever leaked the information a “scumbag.”

That’s why Embiid said he will no longer attend closed-door team meetings, saying that trust was shattered by last year’s events. Kindee1688
