It started when ‘Forester’ fullback Nico Williams pushed ‘Blues’ player Marc Cucurella and hit head coach Enzo Maresca who was standing behind him, which led to a heated argument that almost led to a fight. 

Even if both clubs accept the charges for the incident, the independent Ethics and Disciplinary Committee must punish to set an example if a similar large-scale brawl between players from both sides occurs in the future. 

But because the history of wrongdoing of both teams is low, like Forest, this is the 6th time they have caused problems in the past three years, while Chelsea is only the 3rd time in the past five seasons. 

Therefore, it is appropriate to reduce the fine for Nottingham from £ 150,000 to £ 125,000, and for Chelsea from £ 50,000 to £ 40,000 .
