Scottie Pippen and Scottie Pippen Jr. became the first father-son duo in NBA history to record a triple-double after the 24-year-old Memphis Grizzlies guard produced that same performance in Saturday’s 128-104 win over the Washington Wizards, NBC Sports reported. 

Pippen Jr. entered the league undrafted this season. He played well for the Grizzlies before posting a triple-double of 11 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the Grizzlies to a 128-104 home win over the Wizards.

The feat made Pippen Jr. the first father-son duo to record a triple-double in NBA history, with Pippen the Elder, a legendary Chicago Bulls player, recording 17 triple-doubles throughout his career.  123over
