Fermin Lopez, the 21-year-old midfielder, has revealed he is delighted to have led Spain to the 2024 Olympic football gold medal match after coming from behind to beat Morocco 2-1 on Monday, according to Diario AS.  ( wilson88 )

Morocco took the lead through a penalty kick by Sofiane Rami in the 37th minute before Firmin equalised in the 65th minute. The 21-year-old Barcelona midfielder then passed the ball to substitute right-back Juanlu Sanchez who scored the winning goal in the 85th minute to advance to their first gold medal match.
