The Guardian reported on Saturday that Fulham have rejected a €25m bid from Atletico Madrid to sign 29-year-old forward Alex Iwobi. 

Atletico Madrid are looking for a replacement for Rodrigo Riquelme, who joined Real Betis this summer, although the Rojiblancos have already signed Alex Baena from Villarreal, before making an approach for Iwobi, only to have a bid rejected by Fulham. 

‘Fulham have rejected a €25m bid from Atletico Madrid for Nigeria striker Alex Iwobi but the club view the 29-year-old as a key part of Marco Silva’s plans and will not consider selling him at this time,’ The Guardian reports.
