The Grifone have agreed to pay €2m to bring the 25-year-old forward to the club for the 2024-25 season, with a further €14m to make the move permanent.

Pinamonti signed in time for Saturday’s season opener against Inter Milan but, given the timing, it is unlikely he will start.

Pinamonti joins after Genoa sold Italy striker Mateo Retegui to Atalanta.

This is a comeback for Pinamonti, who had previously spent the 2019-20 season on loan at the club, while Genoa bought him permanently in the summer of 2020, although Inter immediately triggered a buy-back clause. ( sunlit1688 )
