Italian outlet Il Mattino reports that Osimhen is still likely to move in the middle of the 2024-25 season, despite being on loan at Galatasaray for the rest of the season, but has a €75m release clause with Napoli.

Osimhen is a target for Manchester United and a number of other clubs, but it is unlikely any club will pay €75m in the January transfer window.

Manchester United are reportedly considering offering Netherlands striker Serkse plus €30m to Napoli in a bid to lower Osimhen’s release clause.

However, Napoli appear to have no interest in a swap deal for Osimhen, although Serkse could come in to ease Romelu Lukaku’s forward burden in the second half of the season.

Previously, Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk confirmed that Osimhen had firmly promised to stay with the Turkish club on loan until the end of the 2024-25 season, so there were no concerns even though the Nigerian striker had a clause to terminate his contract with Napoli. ( sakidbet )
