The Red Devils are reportedly preparing a bid of around £17m and are now preparing it for Palmeiras to consider, with the Brazilian club hoping to accept.

Rios is open to a move to England, especially with Manchester United approaching him, but the main problem now is waiting for negotiations between the Red Devils and Palmeiras to be resolved first.

Rios’ current contract runs until the end of 2026, having only moved to the Brazilian side from Guarani in March 2023. 

It remains to be seen whether Palmeiras will be satisfied with the offer, with the Red Devils keen to get it over with as quickly as possible.
