Chris Godwin, a 24-year-old veteran wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has revealed that he is considering becoming a free agent in March to make the best choice for himself and his family. Even though he still wants to stay with the pirate army. But it probably won’t happen easily because the Buccaneers have a limited salary cap. ‘It’s very interesting. The team is headed in the right direction,’ Godwin said. ‘This is something I’ve seen happen over the last few years. Mike and I will talk about it next year. The last one was about feeling like we were there, like we had the right core group to run. We need a few more pieces, you get Tom (Brady) and then start in year one. I know many people didn’t expect how it would end. But that is our aim.’

Godwin entered the league as a third-round draft pick in the 2017 class out of Penn State. He has proven to be a great addition to the Evangelicals and has the potential to become an outside winger. 1. Since he wasn’t a pick in the first 2 rounds, he didn’t make much money on his rookie deal. But if you compare his stats to players like Jarvis Landry, Cooper Cupp and Stefon Diggs, he could make between $14.4-15.75 million per year. And with the market value continuing to increase, it may be likely that Godwin could command a salary of up to $16 million per year.

The Buccaneers currently have a limited salary cap. That leaves just $13.36 million remaining from the projected maximum value of $180.5 million.
