Odegaard has not played in Arsenal’s last seven games in all competitions after suffering an ankle injury while playing for Norway against Austria in the UEFA Nations League in September. ( pgzen )

In the past, manager Mikel Arteta and Odegaard himself have not been able to specify when he will return to the field. 

But recently, the 25-year-old captain has sent a positive signal about his imminent comeback by returning to the track. The club has released a clip of him rehabilitating with a physio for fans to see.

After the international break, the Gunners will kick off their Premier League campaign with a trip to Bournemouth on Saturday, October 19, before a Champions League home clash with Shakhtar Donetsk. Then, a big league match at home to Liverpool on Sunday, October 27.
