Sky Sports reports that Gross has been given permission to travel to Borussia Dortmund for a medical and has now arrived in Germany after Brighton & Hove Albion accepted the offer.

It was previously reported that Borussia Dortmund were close to reaching an agreement with Brighton, with only a few details remaining, and now the negotiations are all complete.

The Guardian predicts that Borussia Dortmund have agreed a transfer fee with Brighton for the main sum of €7m (£5.9m), with add-ons that could push the fee up to €9.5m (£8m) in the future.

Gross has been a regular for Brighton over the past seven seasons since joining from Ingolstadt in 2017, making 261 appearances in all competitions and is out of contract in June 2025. ( sunlit1688 )
