Hato emerges as new defender for the Reds wilson88

Hato is a product of Ajax Amsterdam, who has been in the first team since 2023 and has developed into a key player for the club, making 20 appearances this season, scoring three goals and providing four assists. wilson88

Recently, Gram Bailey, a journalist working for HITC Football and TBR Football, revealed that Hato, 18, has become a full-time target for Liverpool.

The Netherlands international is capable of playing at centre-half or left-back, but the report suggests the Reds view Hato more as a centre-back and also see him as a long-term player.

However, negotiations with Ajax are certainly not easy, as the contract is still running until mid-2028, meaning the Eredivisie club are ready to demand a transfer fee.

Liverpool have been linked with a number of defenders in recent times as the futures of key players such as Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold remain uncertain, as well as the search for a replacement for Andy Robertson.  ( wilson88 )
