hotfuns Free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant has been tweeted by Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown to play with him in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown took to Twitter to invite former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant to play with him in Pittsburgh on Sunday, USA Today reported. hotfuns
Bryant, a former Cowboys wide receiver, remains a free agent after being released by the team in April. Although the 29-year-old has been linked with a number of franchises, he has yet to commit to a team.
Most recently, Steelers wide receiver Brown tweeted an invitation for Bryant to play with him in Pittsburgh, creating another wave of hype with the words, “Come play with me,” and included an Ash tag for Dez Bryant.
Brown was Pittsburgh’s leading wide receiver, catching 101 times for 1,533 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games last season, with second-year wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and running back Le’Veon Bell. So if Bryant were to join the Steelers at Brown’s invitation, Pittsburgh would be one of the most dangerous offenses in the NFL.
The Steelers don’t yet have a clear third-string wide receiver, with Eli Rodgers, Darrius Hayward-Bey and rookie James Washington among the options at the position.
However, Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey said Wednesday that the team is in talks to sign Bryant to replace Josh Gordon, who is set to be released by the team. ( hotfuns )
