hotfuns The Philadelphia Eagles, the Super Bowl 52 champions, got some good news in their final practice session when defensive tackle Tim Jernigan returned to full practice after recovering from an illness.

Jernigan has been bedridden for the past week due to a serious illness, but with two days before kickoff, the 25-year-old is back in action up front.  hotfuns

Also in the lineup were cornerback Ronald Darby, who missed media day Thursday with a fever, and running back Jay Ajayi, defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (calf) and linebacker Dannell Ellib (hamstring).   

The final practice report focused on red zone play and short-down conversions, taking about an hour and a half to complete. Throughout the week, head coach Doug Peterson instructed his players not to wear armor to stay fresh.

In addition, the head coach of the ‘Emerald Eagles’ also invited Brett Favre, a legendary former league quarterback who is an old friend, to give a motivational speech to the Eagles players on Saturday morning (local time).

Super Bowl 52 between the Eagles and the New England Patriots will be played on Sunday, February 4th at U.S. Bank Stadium, with the ‘Emerald Eagles’ holding the underdog by 4.5 points.  ( hotfuns )
