Hoylund’s famous I’m Here celebration followed by Ronaldo’s famous SIU was met with some criticism as disrespectful, but he explained that he did it out of respect for the player who made him a Red Devils fan.

“It’s for my idol,” Hojlund told Danish outlet TV2.

“It’s not to make fun of him or anything, he’s had a huge impact on me and my career. It might seem confusing, but scoring against him and Portugal is massive.
