Ipswich’s first-choice goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky, who helped the club to promotion last season, left the club in June after failing to agree a new contract.

Muric started last season as second choice to James Trafford but managed to seize the number one spot in the final 10 games of the season.

He made 41 appearances in the Championship in the 2022-23 season as Burnley secured promotion back to the top flight.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper joined Burnley from Manchester City in 2022 and his contract with the Clarets runs until 2026.

Muric has represented Kosovo and has made 38 appearances since making his international debut in 2018.

Christian Walton was Ipswich’s number one goalkeeper during the club’s promotion from League One in the 2022-23 season but lost his place to Hladki after an injury at the start of the campaign, with Ipswich taking up the option to extend Walton’s contract until 2025 this summer.
