foryou1688 Jamie Carragher has slammed Tottenham Hotspur’s performance, suggesting Accrington Stanley still caused Liverpool more problems in the FA Cup third round than they did on Tuesday night.

“I don’t say it to make a big deal out of it, I think against Accrington Stanley, Liverpool didn’t have the best team on the day but they caused Liverpool more problems than Tottenham on the night, ” Carragher said.

Carragher then spoke about the performance of Ange Postecoglou and Spurs this season, which recently saw them crash out of the Carabao Cup and sit 14th in the Premier League, and is starting to decline.

“He’s a manager who’s trying to find something and what he’s doing isn’t working, but it’s not just this season. It’s last season, I think they lost 20 of 45 games, it’s terrible.

“We are talking about almost 50 per cent of the Premier League games he has lost. It is not just this season. Tottenham started brilliantly in his first season, going top after 10 games. He kept the team in the game with nine men. Since then the statistics have been terrible for Tottenham.” ( foryou1688 )
