Jamie Slams Brainless Yves for Losing Team on Penalty 123over

123over Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has slammed Yves Bissouma for being a “brainless” player after the Tottenham midfielder gave away an easy penalty in Sunday’s 4-3 home defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League. 123over

    The “Golden Spurs” started the game aggressively, taking a two-goal lead through Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski, but Jadon Sancho struck from a long-range shot to make it 1-2 at half-time.

    In the 61st minute, Chelsea got a penalty when Bissouma carelessly tackled Moises Caicedo and Cole Palmer made no mistake. Enzo Fernandez then Palmer scored another penalty to make it 4-2 before Son Heung-min scored another for the home team.

    Both Jamie Carragher and Jamie Redknapp were on hand to blast Bissouma for giving up a penalty that equalised before the team eventually lost.

    “What the Tottenham players did was ridiculous,” Carragher told Sky Sports when asked about Bissouma’s penalty. “It was a penalty, absolutely ridiculous. Who would be a manager?”

    Redknapp added: “Caicedo was quick when he got the chance, Bissouma had a crazy 27 seconds – he didn’t show enough pace to chase him, he made a stupid dive.” ( 123over )
